Working Mothers Work Hard
Being a working mother can at times be challenging to say the least. I am fortunate enough to have a supporting spouse. I honestly have tremendous respect for the single mothers out there. My utter most admiration goes to you. Since I am my own boss, it has its pros, but like everything else, it has its cons. Thankfully the pros outweigh the cons at this time. So I came up with a few tips for all you working mothers out there to keep your professional and personal life in balance.
1. Make time for yourself: When you are all work and no play you tend to wear yourself out. So get your nails done, get a massage or if you are on a business trip and have some free time.. just relax and enjoy the hotel amenities and scenery.
2. Have a date night: If you have a significant other go out just the two of you and enjoy each other. Remind yourselves why you fell in love in the first place. Having children can sometimes stray you away from those moments.
3. Know when to stop: Know when you are at a stopping point for work and give that time to your children and loved ones.
4. Never forget the reason you are working so hard: As a woman, we tend to think about everyone else in our lives and place ourselves last. Let's stop this chain and remind ourselves why we work so hard, why we do what we do.
5. Remember to breathe: Take conscious deep breaths. This releases stress, distorted thoughts and frees your mind from everything that is happening that moment.
Hopefully, this helped! Remember to share this information it will do wonders!
